About us

A family that sows together reaps together – oh and grows together.

We are Bryan and Loren, and our son, Blayne. We want to welcome you to come on in, have a seat at our table, and do life together. We are homesteading on about 10 acres in northern Georgia where we have started a garden, pastured poultry, and a worm farm. We learn best by doing, and sharing all our adventures with you. Welcome to our little Haven.

Chicken & Eggs ready mid October

About our method

Enjoy pasture raised chicken

Our chickens are raised from the first day of their life with no antibiotics and organic feed. They spend the majority of their lives on green grass, eating bugs to their heart’s content. Then with one bad day, they are processed by hand with no mechanical or chemical bleaching. This natural way of raising chickens ensures you get the best tasting, most natural chicken possible.

If you are what you eat, then maybe it’s important what you eat is eating…

Why did we stick our brooder in the middle of our field, next to the garden? Seems weird. Maybe? But there was some logic to it, and at the end of the day, we could move it if we hate it. So let’s chat about that. Our […]
